Industry

Connecting fundamental research to industrial challenging problems is of great benefit to researchers as well as to industrials. What we are now looking for in industrial engineering is how to apply efficiently the theory to solve industrial problems and particularly how to improve the performance of the system under study. We are on the lookout for scientific topics of major interest to our economic well being. For instance, knowledge technology and logistics are of great competitive importance to every enterprise and productive system. It concerns profit and non-profit organisations, products or services enterprises, private or public sectors. We are dealing with topics covering scientific, economic and social aspects. Innovation of our productive systems is a major developing criterion.

Industrials shall constitute pivotal partners of I4e2, both in the selection of topics to be treated and in the training process. If you are from the industry, we strongly encourage you to submit your questions to the Virtual Forum of the Institute. You have the opportunity to reach researchers in the scientific community who are competent in the problem area you have specified and are eager to assist.
